- No, we don’t mean beer pong. Plenty of dorms host game nights at least one night during the week. Not only is this an opportune time to show off your charades skills, but it is also a great way to make friends with peers who also have interests that include more than just partying.
- We all already know that college costs a lot of money, which is all the more reason to check out their free events! Universities host a ton of activities that are geared towards having activities for students to do that do not just involve drinking. Be prepared to sign up for everything from carnivals, dance lessons, to sports games.
- What better way to explore your new college town without risking all the progress you made at your Florida sober house, other than by volunteering? Not to mention, this is also a great way to meet new friends who have similar interests.
